These decals are part of a lot that I received from a studio that has been in operation for over 30 years.  Unfortunately, due to ill health the owners have been forced to close their doors and liquidate their stock.  These are older decals but they have been well cared for in a controlled environment. They fire beautifully at cone 016-017.   The higher the firing temperature the pinker the deep reds become. Slightly lower temperatures give deeper blues and green colors.  I would not recommend firing over cone 016.  These Are waterslide decals Not stickers.  Just soak them in water for a few minutes You will watch the decal roll up and unroll in the water. Make sure decal slides easily from paper if it feels as if it doesnt want to come off, (it probably won't  without damage) Place back in water for another minute and try again. Decal backing is sticky, place it where you wish it to go and pat with a damp cloth making sure you get all water from beneath decal. Great for Pottery Studios, School crafts, Etc. Designed for ceramics but they can also be used to enhance, Wood, Lamp Shades, Candles, Soap, (used properly, they will actually extend the life of your favorite bar of soap), Plastic, Vinyl, Metal, Polished Stone and Much Much More!! Use On Wood 1. Mix a solution of Glycerin and Elmers glue. (1/2 & 1/2) 2. Wood pieces can be natural, stained or painted. 3. Apply small amount of glue mixture and spread over the area to be decorated. 4. Trim desired decal and place into warm water until it curls. Decal will then flatten and release from white paper back. 15/20 seconds 5. Remove decal from water, insure it is removed from white paper backing. 6. Place decal in desired area and eliminate any excess water and glue from behind decal using a squeegee. 7. Remove excess water and glue from outside of decal using a damp paper towel. 8. Let piece dry for 24 hours, at room temperature. 9. Apply a water based sealer.  Several coats may be required to cover outline of decal. Use On Lamp Shades 1. Trim desired decal and place into warm water until it curls. Decal will then flatten and release from white paper back. 15/20 seconds 2. Remove decal from water, insure it is removed from white paper backing. 3. Dry decal with paper towel. 4. Apply Tacky Glue to back of dry decal. 5. Place decal, glue side down, on lamp shade. 6. Eliminate any excess glue from behind decal using a squeegee. 7. Let piece dry for 24 hours, at room temperature. 8.Can spray with a matte porcelain sealer to seal and eliminate shine of decal. This will give it a linen look. Let your imagination uncover the many ways these decals can enhance most projects!!! Due to the new policies recently implemented by the US Post Office that define any envelope Marked "Do Not Bend" as a package and not regular mail I have had to raise my minimum fee to $2.50 for shipping decals.
