The 2818HE is fired with six elements insulated by 3" thick soft fire brick giving even heating and exact temperature control up to cone 10. The 2818HE is a perfect kiln for ceramists, teachers, students, schools & serious hobby potters allowing commercial sized kiln loads. When firing larger loads, an Olympic blank ring may be added giving you more depth. This kiln is built in sections, has a metal stand, hinged lid, stainless steel jacket, and the unique Olympic inter-tie system.
