Description
Up for auction is a lot of 10 sheets of vintage ceramic water slide decalsThese are cool bag labels for your pencils, utensils, and gadgets They measure from 2 inches long to 3 1/2 inches long and are in very good conditionCeramic Detail DescriptionThese are ceramic decals made of thin china glass paint, on top of slick paper. When they are applied to finished ceramics, like cups & plates and "fired" in a kiln, they meltinto the surface of the glass and become very permanent. But they can also be used in many other applications. When you soak them in water for a minute they slide off the paper and are picturesprinted on a thin, clear, plastic like material that can be applied onto almost any smooth, flat surface including : windows & mirrors ~ back splashes ~ lampshades ~ tiles ~ toys ~ scrap books ~ stair steps/risers/handrailFront/back door ~ lunch boxes ~ tackle boxes ~ toolboxes ~ toy boxes ~ mail boxes I put them on the outside of my letters & envelopes and top with clear packing tape!Design your own Greeting and Birthday Cards or make your own doll house wallpaper even!Design serving/bed trays and top them with clear contact paper then you can clean them with a damp cloth.Put some on your cars back windows ~ your appliances ~ computer tower/monitor ~ coat rack ~ guitar & casetelephone ~ wood & tile floors ~ tables & chairs ~ birdhouses ~ dressers ~ headboards ~ drawers & doors! If you are putting them on glass be sure to cut them very close to the design, so you don't see the plastic edge of the decal through the glass. No need to clear coat when you put them on glass, they stick by themselves. They can be removed from glass with a razor bladeJust soak them in water for a minute until they slide off the paper!Let them dry and spray or brush on a clear coat ... Decorating Made Sooooo easy!Check out my other items I have for sale! THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!
