Olympic has incorporated the high quality standards of its electric kilns into the Torchbearer Gas Kilns. This gas kiln does it all; Bisque, Glaze, and Raku. Since it is gas it is extremely easy to reduce which makes glazes 10 times better, but you can still produce oxidation if that is preferred. This kiln can operate on a 5 gallon propane tank (The same size tank found on your gas grill!!!) making it extremely portable and can easily be taken anywhere for demonstrating, moving or just anything. This kiln runs on low pressure Propane, Natural or Butane Gas, which can be half the cost of the operation of an electric kiln, but with far better advantages. This kiln will fire to cone 10 and the multiple venturi burner configurations gives this kiln very even heating characteristics, fast controllable firing times, and economical operation.
