The 5 1/2" long needle makes a clean smooth cut with a minimum drag. It has a heavy, sharp needle that is set in 1/2" diameter hardwood handle.  Wire Clay Cutter - 11017NThe Clay Cutter is used for slicing and cutting lump clay. It also cuts pots and other items from the throwing head of the potter's wheel.
