"Feeling Green" dragonfly unique pendant with peridot Dragonfly polymer clay pendant by Christi Friesen Start Price USD 20.00 Current Price USD 51.00 Time Left - Bid Count 7 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, August 19, 2008 End Time Sunday, August 24, 2008 Location Tehachapi, CA See more about '"Feeling Green" dragonfly unique pendant with peridot' Description "Feeling Green" dragonfly unique pendant with peridotAlthough this dragonfly is not in one of my books or articles (like most of the other "special stash" items), I've been saving it for you in my private reserve (ok, more of a bookcase piled up with stuff).  This dragonfly and the mini dragonfly beads are the result of a major dragonfly mood I've been in for several months now -- here's why (in case you were wondering) -- I was asked to be the "poster child" for the BABE show (Bay Area Bead Extravaganza, not what you were thinking...) in Oakland this November.  As a special for that show, I created a necklace featuring late summer leaves with a dragonfly resting on some cattails (see the next listing for the poster!)  I'll be teaching this necklace as a class, as well as a class on just the dragonfly portion -- anyway, the dragonfly was such fun to do that I started on a dragonfly kick, of which this greenie was the first. This pendant features a cluster of faceted peridot set in sterling silver in the center of the piece and swarovski crystals in the wing tips.  It is patinated and drybushed to create the dramatic coloring.  Finished with a clear, matte glaze, signed "CF" on the front in the clay.  Brass loops of wire embedded in the wingtips for stringing.  Two inches wide.
